Plot of the Queen of the South Season 6
Queen of the South is an adaptation of the Spanish novel La Reina del Sur, based on the telenovela of the same name. In the story, Teresa Mendoza rises to the top of the Mexican drug trade as a humble Mexican woman.
Teresa lives in a neighborhood called Culiacán in Sinaloa. Having fallen in love with a member of a drug cartel, she becomes motivated to improve herself. Later on, as soon as she learns that her boyfriend has been murdered, she is forced to flee to the United States. Further, she was saved by Camilla Vargas, whose spouse, Epifanio Vargas, was following her for the book of operations that her boyfriend had taken.
James assisted her in her drug-running career because of her math skills. Camilla was offered a copy of the book, and she was encouraged to work with them on the project. After coming up with her unique idea, she ended up starting her own drug distribution company. While Teresa is pursuing Epifanio Vargas, she has to deal with a multitude of new challenges as she becomes more and more renowned and famous.
